“The home was fabulous. Clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The hosts communicated well and were quick to respond when we had problems (ice maker not working); they easily accommodated a bit of an early check in. We were never able to get the TV to work, but tv watching was a low priority. The hot tub was a great relax, but the temperature and the directions for treatment with tablets just didn't apply (no tablets). Overall, this was a lovely place to escape! Thanks!”

“House was very nice, quiet neighborhood, and close to town. Probably one of the cleanest rentals I’ve been in. Had everything we needed to cook some meals at home. It felt very organized and obvious the owners put some effort into making it a nice stay. They even offered early check in even though I missed the message, the gesture was very nice. I also really appreciated it being a dog friendly home and the dog appreciated the large bed. Even offered water and food bowls which was a nice touch. The hot tub was nice after a day of hiking and was also clean. I was sad to not stay longer and would stay here again next time we’re on the island.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Todd and Lori’s place on Orcas Island! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Todd and Lori were incredibly responsive throughout our stay — they even accommodated an early check-in when our schedule changed, which we really appreciated. We also had a minor hot water issue in one of the showers, and they addressed it extremely quickly. Their communication and hospitality made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here — we’d love to come back!”

The instructions and house information were all very straightforward and thorough. We enjoyed amazing meals out at Matia and Houlme - highly recommend!”

“We had an amazing time! Everything was perfect. Todd & Lori were super easy to communicate with and even let us check in early. The house was perfect for the 6 of us and two dogs. Great kitchen for cooking and hanging with friends! I just wish the weather was a bit warmer in October so we could enjoy more time on the huge deck! We had some fun foosball tournaments downstairs too!”

“My son lives on the island and this is my first time in an Airbnb on Orcas. This is the only place I will stay in the future! It is AWESOME and so are the owners. Loved it so much, I stayed an extra 2 days. The house is cozy, beds really comfy, nice walk in closet, jacuzzi was very enjoyable! We didn’t use the fire pit but Todd and Lori had a bundle of wood. Didn’t bbq either but propane was full! Beautiful, quiet setting, everything you could ever need and just a perfect place to stay! Less than 2 miles from town, gas station, deli, little store ( 5 min walk) was hard to leave this morning!”

“Todd and Lori's place was perfect for our Orcas Island trip. It's close to Eastsound - about a 5 minute drive - but enough outside of town that it felt very peaceful and secluded. The house was spacious and well-stocked with amenities, and the yard was large, providing a lot of privacy from neighbors. I would recommend their place for anyone planning an Orcas Island adventure!”

“Beautiful home on Rosario Point, up on a hill with partial views. We had a visit from a family of deer, the back patio was beautiful and perfect for playing cards, and the hot tub was easy to use. Was great to have 3 king beds - perfect for three traveling couples. They had games, multiple coffee options, and ample condiments and cooking equipment. Todd and Lori were super responsive and included tons of local recommendations before virtually and in a binder. Highly recommend!”

“Todd and Lori were great hosts that were very communicative and welcoming. The airbnb itself was a great size for 5 adults and we made good use of the pool/ping pong table. The kitchen and outdoor grill were also well equipped. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Clean and spacious place, especially one that is dog friendly. Host provided a lot of great info on hikes and things to do. Note the yard isn't fully fenced in but lots of space for our dog to roam around the property. Would stay again!”

“We loved our stay here for a girl’s weekend! We had to book last minute after an issue with our other Airbnb and Todd and Lori were very responsive and gracious! The house is beautiful and has everything imaginable so you feel right at home. It is beautiful inside in out, comfortable, and incredible clean. We would definitely stay again!”

“This house was newer construction, nicely decorated, a decent size and well-maintained. It is right off of the road that goes to Rosario so it is not very secluded plus there is a neighboring house quite close and in shouting distance . I would say it is very conveniently located to get to and Eastsound, it’s at a center point to most of the island. There’s a small view of the water and lots of trees. The main bedroom is off of the top floor, while two bedrooms are on the lower floor. Because of the main road and the accessibility and visibility into the lower part of the house, I ended up sleeping downstairs with my kids. Probably not necessary but if you are a nervous mom, something to consider. Overall I think this house is a good choice, it’s clean and bright and new, the hosts were great to deal with and it’s a great location.”

“This home is conveniently located just outside of Eastsound. It is super comfortable and nicely appointed with everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were wonderful and it’s very dog friendly. Our dog even enjoyed the provided bed more than her own! Great hikes nearby also! Communication was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home!”

“We had the best time at Todd & Lori’s home! The home is welcoming and full of light with a fully stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds and great, clean bathrooms. They gave me recommendations on travel around the islands that were super helpful and appreciated! They quickly answered any questions I had which was also helpful. We saw several deer munching near the home while we enjoyed our morning coffee too! I would stay here again no question!”

“There were four of us, and the house was really great - spacious, comfortable, appealing. The deck and outside table and chairs, plus hot tub and an additional seating area were lovely benefits. All living areas--bedrooms, kitchen, living room, plus TWO bathrooms made this place really inviting and we would come here again, for sure. We wish we had booked it for more days on beautiful Orcas.”

“We traveled from New Jersey to Orcas Island a couple of weeks ago. We are so glad that we found Todd and Lori's home. It was such a pleasurable experience from start to finish. Prior to the trip, I had a few inquiries that they responded to quickly and were extremely helpful. Their home is lovely and well-equipped in every way. The beds were very comfortable and the linens high quality. We took advantage of many things Orcas Island has a lot to offer visitors (wineries, golf, shops, trails, restaurants, etc.), but we also took time to just relax at the house and enjoy the amenities. The grounds are beautiful- it was like having our own private enchanted forest. The lovely outdoor lighting made it a perfect place to kick back after dinner, enjoy some local wines, and hangout with our family. The house has a really sweet vacation vibe, very special place. We highly recommend it. Thank you, Todd and Lori, for being exceptional hosts! We hope to return in the future.”

We had a small issue when we arrived with the door code, but Todd responded right away and it was taken care of instantly. We had no issues for the rest of our stay. Great location. Quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting the island.”

“We had a great stay at NW Modern in Rosario. The house is roomy and beautifully decorated. Everything is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The well-appointed kitchen has spices galore, oils, flour, sugar, coffee, and a game cupboard. All of the bedrooms have comfortable king beds, and the bathrooms have fluffy towels. There were treats and special blankets for our dog. It felt like a home, not a rental! Todd and Lori are very helpful and accommodating hosts who responded immediately to our emailed questions. Their welcome book is the best we'd ever seen at an Airbnb. The only problem we had was my fault. I neglected to write down the door code and couldn't access it when we arrived because there was no cell service. We drove 2 minutes to the Harbor Bar and Grill and used their WiFi. (Great restaurant, BTW.) Tip: download hiking maps before you leave the house. Cell service on the island is very spotty. Thank you, Todd and Lori! We had a lovely stay.”

“We stayed at Todd & Lori’s for my husband’s birthday. The space was gorgeous for such a celebration. Our couple friends accompanied us with their daughter, and the house offered ample space to accommodate all of us. The house is in a great location: close to Moran state park and east sound. If you are into enjoying the outdoors but also visiting the town for some treats- this is a great spot for both. Our favorite spaces were the outside deck, large open kitchen/ family room, and fire pit at night. The house is completely pristine in terms of cleanliness- We loved it so much that we are hoping to book again next year-”

We will definitely keep this spot on the list to return to when we make it back to Orcas Island.”

We enjoyed walks and trail runs in Moran State Park (you can enter the park a short walk from the property), soaks with a view in the hottub, and cooking some simple meals in the beautiful kitchen. We can't wait to return! This place is absolutely worth the splurge.”
