Our first home and where Orcas Island Getaway began: 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and 1,300 sq ft on a ¾-acre parcel, 1.3 miles from Eastsound village and two blocks from Crescent Beach.

The home is surrounded by towering evergreens yet gets sunlight through the day: front deck in the morning, rear deck in the afternoon and evening.

Two blocks to the beach
A trail through the property leads toward Crescent Beach Drive; Crescent Beach and the Crescent Beach Preserve’s flat 1.5-mile round-trip trail are a few blocks away.
Evening
Fire pit, then hot tub
The rear deck has a patio set, propane BBQ and string lights, and leads to the fire pit and a hot tub sized for 2–4 adults. Deer often pass through near dusk.

Cell reception is strong with most carriers here, 1.3 miles from Eastsound. All our homes have complimentary Wi-Fi from Rock Island, the local island internet provider.

The fine print, in plain English
- Minimum stay2 nights. We can sometimes do 1 night when it fills a single night between two existing bookings. Email us to ask.
- Check-in / outCheck-in is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM. Keyless keypad entry uses a code unique to your stay.
- DogsWelcome with prior approval: up to 2 dogs, $80 pet fee per stay. Dogs must be at least 1 year old, spayed or neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and flea control. Dog policy
- Cleaning feea cleaning fee of $170 per stay, plus 10.35% sales and lodging tax.
- Damage protectionEach stay includes damage protection or a refundable damage deposit.
- Cancellation
If you cancel more than 60 days before arrival, we keep a cancellation fee of 10% of the reservation amount (not including the cleaning fee or taxes) and refund the rest, including the cleaning and damage protection fees. If you cancel within 60 days of arrival, the nightly rate isn’t refundable, and the cleaning and damage protection fees are refunded. Within 60 days, we can’t make changes.
Summer and holiday stays are the exception: a stay with any night from Memorial Day through Labor Day, or one that includes December 25 or January 1 (including arriving or departing that day), isn’t refundable for any reason and can’t be changed. Nothing is refunded, including the cleaning fee, damage protection fee and taxes.
A change to any other stay, 60 or more days before arrival, carries a $50 change fee. Rescheduling counts as a change. We can’t move a stay to new dates if it falls in the summer and holiday period, or if it’s within 60 days of arrival. In those cases the cancellation terms apply.
