We arrived during a winter snowstorm and Todd and Lori made sure we had everything we needed and they were quick to respond to our questions. It was peaceful watching the snow falling through the large living room windows. We hope to visit again in the summer months!”

Will definitely hope to stay here when I visit Orcas in the future FYI in the off-season most restaurants are limited and there is no doos delivery service on the island, so be prepared to cook. But it’s a great and well supplied kitchen Wonderful stay!”

“Todd and Lori’s place is amazing! We needed a getaway and it delivered! We brought our entire family and dog and it comfortably fit everyone. The views from the home are beautiful and tranquil. It was just what we needed! The pet friendly house was stocked with a large dog bed, food and water bowls, covers to put on the bed and/or furniture. There was ample seating for everyone both inside and outside. The decor throughout the home was beautiful. The large kitchen was stocked with knives, cutting boards, mixing bowls, serving bowls, colander, sheet pans, pans, utensils, cooking utensils, glass cups, plates, can opener and more. We were there over Thanksgiving and the kitchen was a delight to cook in. Our main Thanksgiving meal we had at the Mansion at Rosario near by. It has a beautiful view of the water. At night from the hot tub we could see the stars so clearly. It was gorgeous! We wished we could stay a few more days. We highly recommend this getaway for couples or families!”

“This house is very clean, probably the cleanest place I've ever stayed (except the ice cream scooper was very dingy 😁). They are so organized and intentional with their home and I felt very comfortable knowing they care for it and ask guests to care well for it too. The beds were very comfy. Kitchen very well stocked with everything you could need. Two w/d in the house! The hot tub was a welcomed relaxation at the end of each day. The area is also great and quiet and beautiful. I love that each room had a kind bed so we each got the same amenity in sleeping arrangement while there. We had a wonderful weekend with friends and would come back!”

“Enjoyed the retreat, neighbors are close and didn’t seem to like the company of air B and B as we could here them complaining while we were barbecuing and when in the hot tub about our voices carrying. There were just 2 of us and I didn’t believe we were would but as I could here there complaining quite clearly ( we were not out late) I can see how they could here us well. More a complaint for the neighbors being. Rude. But our stay was wonderful , well stocked clean and comfy. Loved all amentsries. Stove, bbq and hot tub walk in showers. You will be delighted to stay.”

“The accommodations were great, and fit our needs well. I only have a couple of comments. I am short and really needed a chair to sit on in the bedroom as did my friend. The bed was comfortable, but difficult to dress on because it’s high. Additional throw pillows for the sofas would have made them more usable for we short people. I also couldn’t reach most of the cupboards, so a step stool would have been very helpful. A small waste basket in each bedroom would have have been nice, as would be hand towels for each individual, especially because of COVID. Thanks for the nice stay.”

“We had a wonderful stay in this lovely house. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped if you're into cooking, and the deck with a grill made eating outside a breeze. Todd and Lori give great instructions about everything, so you probably won't have a lot of questions. But we added a day to our stay last minute, and they replied to every messages very quickly. The house was great for our group of 5 adults, with big comfortable beds and rooms for everybody. The pool table was a lot of fun, although we probably stayed up too late because of it...All in all, a great stay.”

“Best Airbnb I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in, Todd & Lori were phenomenal hosts! Check-in was SO smooth and we were thrilled to find this place fully-stocked with all of the basics (toilet paper, soap, dish detergent, sponge, etc.), including extras we weren’t expecting (a TON of dog-specific items, access to a vacuum to keep things tidy, a spice rack!). The area was secluded and quiet, and the massive yard’s fenced-in deck area was the perfect place for our hounds to snooze the day away safely. The house stayed breezy and cool during the day with the windows open, but the fans and AC were impactful on the one day it peaked over 80°. Todd & Lori were highly communicative and welcoming, and it was reassuring to know they were nearby in case of an emergency. Overall, 10/10 stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough!”

“Nice hot tub, easy to care for. The driveway needs some work, especially on that blind corner. The beds were fine. Very warm in the upstairs bedroom though. The bathroom was nice and the shower was lovely. Kitchen was workable with minimal dishes, so can't cook much. Air conditioning worked well in the living area, but not in other areas of the house. The deck was fine for dining and bird watching.”

The house is a new construction with all the amenities one might need. It was a beautiful surprise to find bowls for our doggie along with a special blanket just for your Fido. We very much enjoyed the hot tub, the king size bed, the well furbished kitchen, high quality toiletries. What to say about the view, the sunset, the deers crossing the property? “Overall this property was everything we hoped for. It is conveniently located to Eastsound, though I don’t consider it walkable. It was clean, well stocked and comfortably furnished. It felt very private and peaceful, most of the time. My only negative comments are that the home sits among some sketchy properties. This initially concerned me, but once on property it was not an issue. Also, while not visible, the property abuts a vehicle repair business. At times while sitting in that backyard enjoying the fire pit or just sitting on the deck, a compressor ran at the business and made a racket for quite a while. This was not a deal breaker, I would still recommend the property, but consider it a warning.”

“This is a great house for a long weekend on Orcas with friends. The home is a short drive from Eastsound, and not so close that you feel like there is constant car traffic around you.. The house is setup for peaceful enjoyment if you would like to build a fire, grill, and relax in the hot tub. Evenings were quiet and the mattresses are comfortable. This is our second time staying at a property owned by Todd & Lori and they always think of everything. We would be happy to stay here again. Communication was comprehensive and well-timed.”

The house itself was clean, comfortable and stylish with quite the impressive view from the deck and big windows that bathed the house in light even on cloudy days. It was just seconds away from Moran State Park, making hiking and running there a breeze (we didn’t even bother driving there most days and took advantage of the trail shortcut to Cascade Lake). Everything was considered and taken care of, communication was excellent and we never ran into any issues while we were there. It was truly a seamless experience. I would highly recommend their place as a relaxing getaway. We had 4 people but it could comfortably hold more. Tip: wifi works great but some carriers get weak to no cell signal in that part of the Island. We didn’t have any issues doing what we needed to do over wifi though. I would however (as Todd and Lori recommend), screenshot or save the front door code email page just in case you don’t have a signal to get into the electronic welcome packet upon check in.”

“This property is a gem on Orcas. It's perfectly sized for one or two couples or a family and extremely conveniently located - just a short drive to Moran and even closer to Crescent Beach and Eastsound. The property is well maintained overall, with a nice walking path around the yard, lights and lots of tall trees for privacy. The back deck is gated and there is an adjoining fenced off area next to the deck (and accessible by it) so you can easily let a dog out safely in a small secure area. The hot tub is lovely and well maintained and they use sanitizing products that aren't choline based. The inside of the home is extremely well maintained with updated furnishings, bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The kitchen is fully stocked and has good quality items, including sharp knives! A nice bonus for those who like to cook. There are plenty of options for coffee - a coffee maker as well as an espresso machine and beans provided for espresso! Todd and Lori have set up this home with a keen eye to detail for the guest experience, excellent guides, tips and and outstanding and prompt communication. They were also extremely gracious when we experienced some ferry challenges during our trip. We would certainly stay again and recommend it to others.”

“This place sets the bar for Airbnb! Todd & Lori have created an amazing stay. The location is perfect - we enjoyed walking our dog down to Rosario Resort, over to cascade lake and on the trails around Moran State Park as well as taking the short drive into town. The house is incredibly clean and full of amenities. We played pool for hours, soaked in the hot tub for hours and as board game lovers enjoyed playing some strategy games we had yet to try.
