TV and sound.
Both TVs have streaming. The remote and soundbar steps below are for the rec room.
Streaming
One is in the main bedroom and one is downstairs in the rec room. Sign in with your own streaming accounts.
Rec room video
Turn on the TV and use the remote to choose a streaming service.
Rec room audio
Turn on the Vizio soundbar. Make sure the mode is set to “Optical” so audio plays from the television. You can also pair a Bluetooth device (a phone or tablet) to play your own music through the soundbar.
Pairing the rec room soundbar
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the soundbar for 5 seconds, or select the BT pair option from the display remote menu. When the soundbar is in Bluetooth pairing mode, the LED indicators on the display panel on the front of the soundbar light sequentially from bottom to top and back again.
The rec room soundbar shows up in your phone’s Bluetooth list as “VIZIO 4051.”
