Hot tub.
A few things to know, and the steps for running it and keeping the water in good shape during your stay.

Temperature
The hot tub displays in Celsius and is set to 38°C (about 100°F) as its normal operating temperature. Each 1°C is just under 2°F. Quick reference:
| Celsius | Fahrenheit |
|---|---|
| 36°C | 96°F |
| 37°C | 98°F |
| 38°C | 100°F |
| 39°C | 102°F |
| 40°C | 104°F (maximum) |
If you’d like it warmer or cooler, adjust the temperature about an hour before you get in, and leave the cover on. Press the temp up or down button until you see the temperature you want.
Before each use
- Remove the cover. See the photo below.
- Unlock the 4 clipsFold the cover over the bar
- Gently fold the whole cover over the edge of the hot tub
- When the sanitizer tablets and the 10-minute jet run are done (see After each use), reverse these steps to close the cover.
Note: Please don’t put extra weight or stress on the cover while it’s open.
Folding back the hot tub cover, in three steps - Check the water. Make sure it’s chemically balanced before you get in (cloudy or discolored water is a sign it isn’t).
- Spa water is kept at roughly 100°F, which is why chemical sanitizers are needed. A chemical smell is normal for hot tubs.
- If you’d like to test it, water balance test strips are in a plastic tub near the garage, under a wood platform. If the water looks extremely cloudy or colored, please let us know so we can arrange additional maintenance.
- Turn on the jets, and the light if you’d like.
- The hot tub has 2 jet settings. Press the “Jet” button once for low, and a second time for high.
- The jets run for about 12 minutes, then return to “filter/standby” mode.
- Two small airflow valves above the water line let you mix more or less air into the water.
- The LED light: press once to turn it on with rotating colors, and press more than once to cycle through the color choices.
After each use
Important
Hot tubs need sanitizer tablets added after every use to keep the chemicals balanced. A bottle of “Renew” tablets is on the post next to the hot tub.
- Place 2 or 3 tablets in the water.
- Run the jets on high for 10 minutes with the cover off.
- After 10 minutes, put the cover back on and secure the straps in the clips.
If anything isn’t working the way these steps say, let us know and we’ll help.
